Banana Mango Smoothie

What better way to cool yourself off with a cool tropical smoothie that can be ready in about 5 minutes? Yes it’s that easy and can be kept in the fridge, but should be consumed during the same day you make it or it may go bad.

This tropical smoothie requires only 4 basic ingredients and a blender (or similar home appliance).

1 medium mango1 banana
500ml orange juice (or pineapple juice)4 ice cubes

Mango slices

Peel off the mango and chop it into smaller chunks (see the photo). Peel the banana and chop it as well. Put all of them in a blender and add the juice of your choice. Blend until the liquid thickens and there are no chunks left in the mix. Pour it in a bottle or jug and let it cool down in the fridge. When ready, pour in a glass and add ice.

This recipe will make 1L of smoothie (about 33Oz), so enough for the whole family. Bonus, kids love it.
